Wildlife Photographer Visit
We were lucky today to have a visit from professional wildlife and travel photographer Om Yadav, who showed the club a range of his photos and talked about his experiences. We were particularly interested to learn about how to escape from a range of dangerous animals, including rhinos (hide behind or in a tree) and bears (they're too fast to run from, so your best option is to hit them on the nose with a stick).
Om talked about how he became a professional photographer, starting by buying his first camera as a child. Om's photos can be viewed on his website www.opyadav.com
Om leads free photo workshop walks in and around Kathmandu every Saturday. For anyone interested, there's more information available here: www.photowalknepal.com
